1. Introduction

Welcome to Pandocs.co.il (the "Site"), operated by Pandocs Ltd, company no. 517015020 (the "Company"). Use of the Site is subject to the terms and limitations set out below. Browsing or using the Site constitutes express agreement to these terms. If you do not agree to the terms, please refrain from using the Site.

2. The services

The Company provides medical document analysis and summarization services for various purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Analysis of general medical documents.
  • Analysis of documents for National Insurance, income-tax exemption, and insurance purposes.
  • Processing and organizing medical documents to streamline bureaucratic processes.

The services are based on advanced technology but do not constitute a substitute for medical, legal, or professional advice. Any use of the services is the user's sole responsibility, and the outputs are not to be regarded as a medical opinion or treatment recommendation.

3. User responsibility regarding the medical documents

Use of the Site's services is conditioned on the user declaring and undertaking that:

  • Owner's consent – every medical document submitted for analysis via Pandocs has been approved for use by the person to whom it belongs (the patient or owner of the medical document).
  • Power of attorney – where the user is not the direct owner of the medical documents, they must ensure they hold explicit power of attorney from the patient or authorized party to use the Company's services to process and analyze the documents.
  • Full responsibility – the user bears sole responsibility for any claim, demand, lawsuit, or damage arising from unauthorized use of medical documents or the absence of appropriate consent from the data owner.

The Company shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage caused by use of documents without appropriate consent, and the user undertakes to indemnify the Company for any damage caused to it as a result.

4. The analysis process, employee involvement, and cloud use

  • Technology platform and Company employees – the user acknowledges and is aware that the analysis and summarization of the medical documents is performed both by a technology platform and by Company employees, who may review the documents to improve service quality, fix technical errors, and validate data.
  • Cloud storage and processing – the user acknowledges and is aware that the medical information submitted is processed and temporarily stored in secure cloud services to deliver the services.
  • Retention period – the documents and data submitted may be retained temporarily according to service needs and deleted after a set time or upon the user's request, subject to Company policy.

5. Service limitations

The services provided on the Site are based on computerized processing of medical documents, and therefore:

  • The final output may contain deviations or omissions, and the Company does not warrant that the outputs will be complete, accurate, or error-free.
  • The service does not constitute a medical or legal opinion or any other professional advice, and must not be relied upon to determine a medical condition or make medical decisions.
  • Any reliance on the outputs provided through the Site is the user's sole responsibility.
  • The Company does not warrant that the final output will serve as legal evidence; any such use is at the user's sole responsibility.
  • In any case of doubt, users must consult a qualified professional before relying on the service outputs.

6. Privacy and data security

  • The Company is committed to protecting users' privacy and securing the information submitted to it.
  • The user confirms that they submit medical information of their own free will and knowledge, solely for the purpose of receiving the service.
  • Information is stored on secure Microsoft Azure systems for up to 90 days after the service ends, unless otherwise agreed.
  • A request for deletion of information may be submitted at any stage, in accordance with the user's rights.
  • Personal information collected will be used solely for the purposes set out in the Company's privacy policy.
  • The Company employs advanced security measures to protect the information from unauthorized access, but cannot guarantee that the system is entirely immune to breaches or unauthorized access.

7. Intellectual property

All content, designs, trademarks, and other materials on the Site are owned by the Company or licensed to it. You may not copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products, or services originating from the Site without the Company's prior written consent.

8. Limitation of liability

  • The services are provided "as is," and the Company does not warrant that the services will meet the user's requirements or be free of faults or errors.
  • The Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the services.
  • The user releases the Company from all liability regarding potential damage that may be caused as a result of reliance on the outputs provided by the services.

9. Changes to the terms of use

  • The Company reserves the right to change the terms of use from time to time.
  • Users are asked to review the terms each time they visit the Site.
  • Continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
